The vast majority of children joining our school in Year 3 come from Robert Miles Infant School.

We recognise this is an important transition point in the children's education and we deliver a carefully planned induction to ensure the children's move is smooth and seamless. This induction includes the Year 2 teachers visiting the Infant School to see the children in their setting, an Assembly delivered by the Junior School Headteacher, a taught lesson at the Junior School along with tours and parent meetings with Junior School staff. The SENCo also meets with families where there are specific needs so the Junior School can ensure additional support and provision is in place.
