It was wonderful to see 16 teams enter this year’s Science and Technology Competition, the first since 2019. This year’s challenge was to launch a ping pong ball across the school hall, with points to be gained for distance and, more importantly, accuracy. As always the children’s models were fantastic and they always seem to come up with ideas that we couldn’t dream of! Children were encouraged to work with someone at thome but they had to be able to operate and discuss their models completely independently. Many thanks to all at home who helped out.

As well as the overall third, second and first places, there were also certificates for the most artistic entry and the most ingenious. Here are all this years entries:
